The Cerbatana Trio plays music from Latin America. The three musicians Mario El Fakih, Danilo Cabaluz and Sofía Roldán got their studies at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg..
In June 2012, they founded the trio, motivated by their love to music. They have taken the challenge to explore be the enormous diversity of Latin American music and rhythms beyond contemporary limits related to culture and geography
Their music combines classical and folk, their repertoire consists selfmade arrangements: piano, violin and plucked instruments (guitar, charango and Cuatro).
The current program will take you on a journey through Cuba, Brazil, Colombia, Venezuela, Argentina and Chile, stirring rhythms like Bambuco, Joropo, Vals, Conga, Son Cubano, Milonga, Samba and Cueca.
